【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversheat-treatedalloysteelaxlesformasstransitandcommutercarsinelectricandlocomotivehauledrailwayservice.1.2Thisspecificationisforsoliddesignrollerbearingaxleswithmachinedbodies.1.3Variousaxledesignsareusedforthisserviceincludingmotorandnon-motorwitheitherinboardoroutboardjournals.1.4SupplementaryrequirementsincludingthoseinthegeneralrequirementsofSpecificationA788/A788Mareprovidedforusewhenadditionaltestingorinspectionisdesired.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedindividuallybythepurchaserintheorder.1.5Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation,theaxlesshallbefurnishedtotheinch-poundunits.1.6ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
