【摘要】:Incertainapplications,theash,color,conductivity,orpHofthefinishedactivatedcarbonproductmaybeinfluencedbythequantityofwatersolublesitcontains.Thiswatersolublestestprovidesarelativeindicationofthequantityofsolublematerialsthatmaybeextractedfromvariousactivatedcarbons.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthewatersolublecontentof(unused)granularandpowderedactivatedcarbons.Watersolublesarematerialsthatcanbeextractedbydistilledwaterunderrefluxconditionsandareexpressedasapercentageofdrycarbonweight.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
