【摘要】:Thisstandardreferstotheclassificationofthedegreesofprotectionprovidedbyenclosuresagainstexternalmechanicalimpactswhentheratedvoltageoftheprotectedequipmentisnotgreaterthan72,5kV.Thisstandardisonlyapplicabletoenclosuresofequipmentwherethespecificstandardestablishesdegreesofprotectionoftheenclosureagainstmechanicalimpacts(expressedinthisstandardas"impacts").Theobjectofthisstandardistogivea)thedefinitionsforthedegreesofprotectionprovidedbyenclosuresofelectricalequipmentasregardsprotectionoftheequipmentinsidetheenclosureagainstharmfuleffectsofmechanicalimpacts;b)thedesignationsforthedegreesofprotection;c)therequirementsforeachdesignation;d)theteststobeperformedtoverifythattheenclosuremeetstherequirementsofthisstandard.Itwillremaintheresponsibilityofindividualtechnicalcommitteestodecideontheextentandmannerinwhichtheclassificationisusedintheirstandardsandtodefinethe"enclosure"asitappliestotheirequipment.However,itisrecommendedthat,foragivenclassification,thetestsdonotdifferfromthosespecifiedinthisstandard.Ifnecessary,complementaryrequirementsmaybeincludedintherelevantproductstandard.Foraparticulartypeofequipmentaproductcommitteemayspecifydifferentrequirementsprovidedthatatleastthesamelevelofsafetyisensured.Thisstandarddealsonlywithenclosuresthatareinallotherrespectssuitablefortheirintendeduseasspecifiedintherelevantproductstandardandwhichfromthepointofviewofmaterialsandworkmanshipensurethattheclaimeddegreesofprotectionaremaintainedunderthenormalconditionsofuse.Thisstandardisalsoapplicabletoemptyenclosuresprovidedthatthegeneraltestrequirementsaremetandthattheselecteddegreeofprotectionissuitableforthetypeofequipment.
