【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversmeasurementsoftheburstingstrengthofpaperandpaperproductsoccurringassingleorlaminatedflatsheetsnotover0.6mm[0.025in.]inthicknesshavingaburstingstrengthof30kPaupto1400kPa[4psiupto200psi].Thistestmethodisnotintendedforuseintestingcorrugatedboxboard,linerboard,orhardboardsthattendtocutthethinrubberdiaphragm.Note1-SimilarproceduresformakingburstingstrengthmeasurementsarefoundinISO2758andTAPPI403.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
