【摘要】:Thedeterminationofcompoundtypesbymassspectrometryrequires,insomeinstances,apreliminaryseparationofthepetroleumsampleintorepresentativearomaticsandnonaromaticsfractions,asinTestMethodsD2425,D2786,andD3239.Thistestmethodprovidesasuitableseparationtechniqueforthisapplication.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheseparationanddeterminationofrepresentativearomaticsandnonaromaticsfractionsfromhydrocarbonmixturesthatboilbetween232and538176;C(450and1000176;F).Alternativeproceduresareprovidedfortheseparationof2gor10gofhydrocarbonmixture.Somecomponentsmaynotbeelutedfromthechromatographiccolumnforsometypesofsamplesundertheconditionsusedinthismethod.Note1TestMethodD2007isanalternativemethodofseparatinghigh-boilingoilsintopolarcompounds,aromatics,andsaturatesfractions.1.2Analternativeprocedureisprovidedtohandlesamplesboilingbelow232176;C(450176;F),butwhose5%pointisabove178176;C(350176;F)asdeterminedbyTestMethodD2887.ThisprocedureisgiveninAppendixX1.1.3ThevaluesstatedinacceptableSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
