【摘要】:IthasbeenagreedtopublishinterpretationsissuedbytheB31CommitteeconcerningB31.8aspartoftheupdateservicetotheCode.Theinterpretationshavebeenasssignednumbersinchronologicalorder.EachinterpretationapplieseithertothelatestEditionorAddendaatthetimeofissuanceoftheinterpretationortheEditionorAddendastatedinthereply.SubsequentrevisionstotheCodemayhavesupersededthereply.Theserepliesaretakenverbatimfromtheoriginalletters,exceptforafewtypographicalandeditorialcorrectionsmadeforimprovedclarity.ASMEproceduresprovideforreconsiderationoftheseinterpretationswhenorifadditionalinformationthattheinquirerbelievesmightaffecttheinterpretationisavailable.Further,personsaggrievedbyaninterpretationmayappealtothecognizantASMEcommitteeorsubcommittee.AsstatedintheStatementofPolicyintheCodedocuments,ASMEdoesnot“approve,”“certify,”“rate,”or“endorse”anyitem,construction,proprietarydevice,oractivity.
