【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversatrack-resistantblackcrosslinkedpolyethyleneinsulation,thebasepolymerwhichconsistssubstantiallyofpolyethyleneoritscopolymers.Thisinsulationshallbecarbonblackpigmented.Thistypeofinsulationisconsideredsuitableforuseonwireorcablethatwillbeusedforcontinuousoperationatconductortemperaturesupto90?C.Thisinsulationissuitableforuseonwireorincableusedforpowertransmissioninoverheadspaced-lineservice,installedattemperaturesabove25andexposedtosunlightandotheratmosphericenvironmentsbetween55and+90?C.Inmanyinstances,theinsulationcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductor.Therefore,testsdoneoninsulatedwireinthisstandardaresolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.
