【摘要】:ThisStandardestablishesperformancerequirementsforelectricchainhoistsforverticalliftingserviceinvolvingmaterialhandlingoffreelysuspended(unguided)loadsusingloadchainoftherollerorweldedlinktypeswithoneofthefollowingtypesofsuspension:(1)lug;(2)hookorclevis;(3)trolley.ThisStandardisapplicabletohoistsmanufacturedafterthedateonwhichthisStandardisissued.Itisnotapplicableto:(1)damageormalfunctioninghoists;(2)hoiststhathavebeenmisusedorabused;(3)hoiststhathavebeenalteredwithoutauthorizationofthemanufactureraqualifiedperson;(4)hoistsusedforliftingorsupportingpeople;(5)hoistsusedforthepurposeofdrawingboththeloadandhoistupordownthehoist'sownloadchain(s);and(6)hoistsusedformarineandotherapplicationsasrequiredbytheDepartmentofDefense(DOD).ThestandardincludesanappendixonElectricChainHoistsusedinmarineandotherapplicationsasrequiredbytheDepartmentofDefense(DOD).
